  2. A recent survey carried out by the University of Tennessee shows that dieters who incorporate yogurt in their daily diet lose more weight, more body fat and substantially more fat around the middle than dieters who consume low calcium, low dairy diets.

  3. Eating yogurt decreases mal-digestion & intolerance in individuals who are lactose intolerant and is an excellent source of protein and calcium.

  4. Yogurt is reported to bring relief to those suffering from diarrhea and chronic constipation.

  5. Regular yogurt consumption crowds out the overgrowth of Candida yeast organisms in the intestines.

  6. Regular consumption of yogurt with live culture leads to a decrease in nasal allergy symptoms compared to ingestion of UHT processed yogurt.

  7. Regular consumption of low fat yogurt does not raise blood cholesterol levels, so it can be part of any cholesterol-lowering diet.
